I am a professional music teacher and a piano player. Classical music is my passion. I always wanted to have a place on Internet where I can explore lives of famous composers and not-so-well known to the wide public composers. I am also interested in semantic Web, Internet driven advertising and Web Analytics. So from time to time, I get projects from a local Web Analytics company, that helps me polish my research skills.
Personally, my favorite period of music is Baroque. This doesn’t mean that I am not interested in other periods of music, like medieval, romantic or contemporary classical. I hope that people who are passionate about history of music, will find something interesting in my notes. The goal of my blog is not to dive into specialized world of music notes and judge complex creations of the composers. I am much more interested in their human side. Who were these people? How they lived their lives? How did they manage to get by in sometimes pretty rough and barbaric times like Dark Ages?
Overall, there are so many questions that remain open with no answers in the foreseen future. So I try to separate the facts from myths and find a light in the dark tunnel Aren’t we all?
